A few people have mentioned bringing back this series so let's get it resurrected with some changes to make it even better & more competitive than before.

We'll be bringing back the absolute perfection that was the Super Touring era with some liveries on the Mazda Atenza Gr4. It will be a one make series this time to make it more fair & hopefully promote the door to door action we're accustomed to.

As we're still on a 16 man lobby size (for now, hopefully that changes with spec 3) - I've got 8 of the most iconic manufacturer team liveries that we can use for the series. Most of these are from the 1999 series with a couple borrowed from 1997.
-Audi
-Volvo
-Nissan
-Vauxhall
-Renault
-Peugeot
-Ford
-Honda

We'll also bring back teams for this series BUT they will be randomly drawn from hats/bowls or whatever Nickster85Gaming can find in his house for a live stream. 2 pots of drivers, paired together at random. Once the pairs are decided; a manufacturer/livery will be picked from a third bowl/hat/bucket/sink/shoe whatever.

Tyre Cost Cap

Each driver will have a limited amount of tyres to use per week due to the cost cap and MUST use softs and mediums for 1 race each per week. This should add a level of strategy, picking your tyres given your qualifying result and the race 2 grid & a tyre wear!  Qualifying will always be on softs.

Race Format
 
We're looking to do something different with this series to mix it up a bit and give more opportunities for point scoring. So, with that in mind, qualifying will score the same points as both races BUT the qualifying result will set the grid for race 1 in reverse!

- Qualifying will take place over a 15 minute period. The final result will score points in line with the races - 16 for pole down to 1 for 16th.
 
- Race 1 - grid set by a reverse of qualifying result. Open tyre choice but you only have 1 set of softs & 1 set of mediums.

- Race 2 - grid set by a result of race 1.  Drivers must use the alternate tyre to race 1. I.e. if you used soft in race 1, you've used your one set and therefore must use mediums.
