We're taking it to the next level and joining the WEC Hypercar category using select Gr1 cars. We'll also be back in teams of 2; you can team up with whoever you like but make sure you've joined forces and come up with a team name before dropping names on the entry list. But don't worry, you've got plenty of time to sift through the riff-raff and decide who your new soulmate will be.

We'll be looking to commence this series 2 weeks after the Gr3 series concludes. Pencil October 12th in your diary! The cars 

BOP for Gr1 is somewhat all over the place given the high variation of car performance in the category so I've tested and selected 3 cars that should be competitive with each other across different tracks without being dominant. These are; 

 Your team can select which car your use from the list above. A Hypercar WEC livery guide will be provided in due course.
 
Race format 
We're also going to mix the format up a little with the races. The following format will apply for all tracks; 

Points 
The top 3 in qualifying will score points as follows: 

The sprint race will score half the amount of points as the feature race; 

The feature race will score full points; 

An additional 3 points will be awarded for fastest lap in both races!
